“The SlapBack’s” Round Of The Week: Illmaculate vs Manaz
Who would have guessed that this form of battle rap would spread this far throughout the world? Is that even an odd question to ask? Either way, I was pretty intrigued to find out a week ago that there is a league in Australia called “Real Talk”. With that, it was also very cool to see Illmaculate and TheSaurus recently engage in individual battles in this setting. However, the one that seriously stuck out to me was between Illmacualte and Manaz.
The Saurus: All I Know Is That
For those of you who do not know The Saurus: go to YouTube, search his name, and explore some of the best that battle rapping has to offer. The Saurus has a resume that stacks up to only prove that he is at least in the top ten of anyone, if not everyone’s favorite battle rappers. He has teamed up with Illmaculate in the World Rap Championship… twice. He has also won the Scribble Jam Championship… twice. He has held the King of the Dot (Canadian Battle League) Championship title. He is known for having the most wins at Tourettes Without Regrets than any other MC, and is also very relevant in other battle scenes such as GrindTimeNow. Currently, we await for King of the Dot to release the finals of their Grand Prix 2on2 finals, which include the regrouped team, The Saurus and Illmaculate, who triumphed through three straight matches to achieve the championship opportunity that they are at now.
